Fixed the RSS feed...
Apparently, the RSS feed for my blog was connected to my personal journal entries only, not the main area where it was supposed to. Hopefully everyone that subscribed to the feed already won’t have to do anything, but if you aren’t getting new updates as I blog stuff in the main area, please delete the feed you have and resubscribe. Thanks!
Casual Game Funding Experiment
Things are going a little slower than I like with the company and the funding issues. We will eventually get there, it just takes time. In the meantime, I’m going to be working on some small online multiplayer games (nights and weekends baby) inbetween all the normal pitching, business plan revisions, venture capitalists and whatnot. Busy busy!
So the idea is to get some revenue generating games online pretty soon. I have a gazillion designs sitting on the backburner and it is time to start making them. I’ll be working with a few other people (2-3 person teams for most of them) to keep things efficient and quick. But I still need to raise some funds to help with the usual expenses (developers and artists don’t work for free!). I also need to pick up some software to make it all work.
Anyway, part of the experiment is that I posted a project for funding request on fundable.com looking for at least $5,000 to get the game to prototype stage. You can contribute as much as you want (minimum is $10). I posted a tiny bit about the game in the post, as well as the cool little benefits I’m offering people that contribute. So, check it out and if you think the game sounds like something you want to play, then please send some dinero : )
I’m estimating it will take about $20k to do the game the way I want to, but there are multiple features I can scale back on and add later (development iteration!).

Ok, I have to repost this since I deleted the entry earlier like an idiot when I was trying to tweak the look and feel of the site. I have enabled an image gallery to show off some of my photography and art. For now, I have just uploaded some of my favorites and best. I’ll put up more later. Enjoy!

Let us remember friends and family this holiday, but let us also be thankful for our country and the freedoms we have. I am proud to be an American and I am proud of our culture and heritage. I thank God I am an American for the freedoms I enjoy and the incredible opportunities this country offers us. I am also thankful for the men and women in our military and other branches that serve our country.

Fresh Start!
I've been feeling like I need to spend more time putting my thoughts online and I haven't been overly happy with my old blog. So, time for a new start and a new blog. I stumbled across Squarespace earlier this evening and so far I really like how their content management is set up. So, here we go. Hang on and enjoy the ride.
