I am convinced that *you* are going to secure solid funding and that you are going to be one of the leaders that shows us how to make AR a success *this time*. In the birth of a vision, belief precedes substance. Focus on what you know is possible and it will become "real" (in an augmented fashion, no less).

Kind regards,
Justis Peters

Tim Hackett comments on Second Life Grid Trademark really annoys me

Hey Robert,

As a second life user myself for about 2 years, I'd have to agree with you 100%. They lost my vote when my slot machine project was shut down flat on its face without warning. I guess I should have seen it coming. Time to pick up the pieces and move forward (out of SL).

I'm very much looking forward to Immortal Destiny. Remember, the device isn't reading your mind as much as it is trying to differentiate between different electric signals or brainwave types. It is the same as associating heartrate...slow = night, fast = day. It is relatively easy to slow or accelerate your heartbeat at will (takes a little practice) and of course it is quite easy to measure.

Chandra comments on Emotive neural interface at GDC is nothing really new...and it doesn't read your mind

Quite balanced review and thanks for the same.

One question on the topic - is there any device out there that can reliably differentiate simple antonym words (say - night vs. day) conceived exclusively by thought alone?

Chandra.

Regiane comments on Virtual Items...who owns what?

I really like your paper, thank you very much.
